A forecast isn't a guess โ it's the output of a physics simulation. Meteorological agencies feed current measurements โ temperature, pressure, humidity, and wind readings from satellites, weather balloons, ships, and ground stations โ into numerical weather prediction (NWP) models. These models solve equations describing how fluids (air) move and exchange heat, then step the simulation forward in time, hour by hour, to project how the atmosphere will evolve.
Because the atmosphere is chaotic โ small measurement errors amplify over time โ accuracy naturally drops the further out you look. A same-day or next-day forecast is usually reliable; a five-day forecast captures the general trend but is more likely to shift as new data comes in, which is why this tool (and any weather service) refreshes its numbers regularly.
The "feels like" or apparent temperature factors in wind chill and humidity. Wind strips heat away from skin faster, making cold days feel colder, while high humidity slows sweat evaporation, making hot days feel hotter than the thermometer suggests.
Earth's axis is tilted relative to its orbit around the Sun, so as the planet moves along its orbit, the angle of sunlight on any given location changes gradually โ shifting sunrise and sunset by a minute or two most days, and by hours between solstices.
Expect the air to feel noticeably warmer than the number shown, and for anything you hang out to dry to take much longer.
Worth checking before cycling, riding a two-wheeler, or planning anything outdoors that involves loose umbrellas or hats.
A wide swing between the day's high and low usually signals clear skies โ dress in layers rather than trusting one number.
Quickly check if you need an umbrella, extra layers, or to plan around a delay โ for your city or the one you're flying into.
Sunrise/sunset times and short-term forecasts help plan watering, spraying, and harvest windows around the day's conditions.
Check the 5-day outlook before locking in an outdoor wedding, match, or trek โ and re-check closer to the date as forecasts sharpen.
A short glossary for the terms shown on this tool.
Combines actual temperature with wind and humidity to estimate how the air actually feels on skin โ often more useful than the raw number.
How much moisture is in the air relative to the maximum it could hold at that temperature. Above ~70% usually feels muggy; below ~30% feels dry.
Sustained wind speed at roughly 10 metres above ground โ the standard height used by meteorological stations worldwide.

Forecasts are sourced from open meteorological data and are generally reliable for the next 24โ48 hours, with accuracy naturally decreasing for days further out โ true of any weather forecast, not just this one.

Current conditions and forecasts are sourced from open meteorological data via Open-Meteo, aggregating national weather services worldwide.
Different apps pull from different data sources and models, and update on different schedules โ small variations between apps are normal, especially for forecasts several days out.
